So you know how they call Dachshunds "wiener dogs"?

When I was a kid I thought hotdogs were made from them.

Specifically, the tails. So since my parents made me eat them, I would never eat the ends because I didn't know which end was nearer to the dog's ass.

They never knew, and I never told them, why I cut the ends off and left them uneaten on the plate. OK, they could make me eat the hotdogs, but nothing they could say would get me to eat the ends.

When we lived in turkey, my daughter many Turkish friends, We were planning thanksgiving dinner when she started crying, she said she did not want to eat turkeys as they were her friends.

probably some new thing they were trying out in the fair grounds. There are always stands pushing new products.

A family friend sent us some corndogs (from her area) one year.

I tried one. Absolutely putrid. Even the dogs wouldn't eat them.
