1. thinks and tells the truth.
I started listening to him before 2008 crash, was able to save our retirement funds just in time.

Stacy is a huge part of what makes Max's shows work.
But he is a good interviewer, has tons of great information,
and is ok to listen to, once you get used to his off the cuff rants, and sly humor.

5. I do, which is qualified by others with more background than I...
I've not been able to "work" financial instruments like others I know. I basically take the advice of smart people. Interestingly, the smart people I know, who tend to deal with both political extremes, tell me that Keiser happens to appeal to people on both ends of the political spectrum.

He has the background and experience. I like him because he is not normal in his affect. I don't need normal... I need no holes barred, wise and experienced, and that's his show. He knows the experts, and is wise to have Stacey Hurbert there.

When you think about the global financial systems that have gone off the reservation, and all the fraud and deception that are coming out more these days, it's easy to see Keiser had his finger on it way ahead of the pack.

9. Interesting about Max....
He does appeal to both ends of the spectrum (which I think is circular not linear).

Put simply, I have done better listening to Keiser than Cramer. In fact, I proposed that as a litmus test for DU's Stockwatch and Weekend Economist thread. He may be Mad Max, but he is crazy like a fox.

11. I don't need "normal" either.
Economics bores me to tears. I never took an Economics class because I couldn't get through a lecture without my eyes glazing over, staring off into space. Thanks to Max, I can watch a 30 minute show about the economy and learn while I'm being entertained. I try to watch his show every time he posts one here at DU and I've become a big fan.:)

8. Depends. I agree with him on a lot of things, but not on everything.
I am ALWAYS interested in what he has to say.

12. I'm a long time listener of his London radio show Truth About Markets.
For the first year I couldn't tolerate him. I thought he was shrill, and other things I don't have the right term for right now. Annoying?

However, I continued trying to listen, and then realized this guy is absolutely tuned in to what is going on in the financial world.

And Stacy Herbert is a great addition to his shows. They're a great team.

Like he says, his predictions have all come true.
