Obama's "good friend" Sen. Coburn calls him a welfare queen.
Responding to a man in Langley who asked if Obama "wants to destroy America," Coburn said the president is "very bright" and loves his country but has a political philosophy that is "goofy and wrong."

Obama's "intent is not to destroy, his intent is to create dependency because it worked so well for him," he said.

"As an African-American male," Coburn said, Obama received "tremendous advantage from a lot of these programs."

11. Actually, I believe his mother was on food stamps for a brief period
and the irony there was that she herself was white.

seeking money. Tomorrow it will be another with an outrageous talking point, like two wrestlers on TV, spewing outrageous claims to make sure the audience will tune in next week.

I'm not aware of any government programs that Obama has benefited from because of being black, let alone "a lot" of them.

The reporter should have asked him to explain this astounding assertion.

"Very bright" - that's a racist condescension compliment that people would offer as if to a precocious child.

And then he follows it right up with the "blacks love welfare" meme.

Red meat for the RW fringe: Make sure the masses are more mad at the black man who wants to spread welfare so they don't pay attention to the fact that the GOP wants to destroy SS and Medicare.

If Coburn is purported to be a "good friend" to the POTUS, it isn't stated here.
