2. I have a homosexual male cat. He is always pestering and trying to hump my other male cat,
who cries pitifully and slinks away, much aggrieved.

What makes it especially bizarre is that the gay one, in addition to being neutered, doesn't have any external genitalia whatsoever since he had to have a perineal urethrostomy several years ago. Go figure.

4. Check out "Cry to Heaven" by Anne Rice.
She writes about eunuchs and castrati having sex. They are said to have had sex often.

6. I have always liked to believe in "to each his own" and the 60s
idea that we all march to different drums. And that there is nothing unnatural about either.

7. There is nothing unnatural in the way
I adore, love and cherish my lover.

That I ravish her and she ravishes me is completely beyond the point.

8. Not true - Baghemil's book Biological Exuberance documents gay-bashing male deer in Texas. Really.

10. Well when the deer
that are getting gay bashed get a clue, they will kick the shit out of the ones that are causing trouble. I grew up in New Orleans. I saw a humongous gay guy come out of the Bourbon Street Pub, beat the shit out of a guy screaming "faggots" and then stuff him back in his truck. He poured me (a little gay girl) a drink afterwards, and I learned that I should NEVER be afraid of bigots and bashers.

12. I like that story.
When I was about 12, a neighbor girl called my mom a dyke. I went bananas even though I didn't quite know what the word meant, and gave her a couple of good punches. I was grounded for a week (which was astonishing considering how strict my mom was), but my sentence was commuted a day or so later.
My mom learned a valuable lesson: she raised a daughter who was an unquestioning defender of her right to love who she wanted.

14. I sure hope so. I just thought the story was too good to pass up.
He also documents in the same book that pairs of gay male swans are the most successful "breeders". They adopt chicks, and are able to successfully defend a larger territory (i.e.beat up gay-bashers) than heterosexual swan couples.

It's a real world, with lots of fascinating complications. And there's no "moralism" to it whatsoever, no sky god telling cows not to eat grass and bunny rabbits not to have sex.

20. I could only find one allusion to that online and that had no more detail...

...than your post. He apparently is the only researcher to report this (though
he DID study 300 different species) -- I'd really like to see what caused him
to positively ID the behavior as "gay-bashing".

15. It's just a perfectly normal variation of sexuality
that has been around forever and, as MFM points out, in far more species than humans alone.

So why can't people just accept that FACT and go on with their lives? Idiots.

17. It's unnatural to tell a bone which way to point and when.
It wastes your time and annoys the bone.

It's fuckin' nuts too.

Something. Whatever.
