A false-equivalency thread--post your favorite-
A few examples:

Tax the wealthy/Burden the job creators
Single-payer/Lack of choice
Single-payer/Undue burden on providers
Tax drug companies/Disincentive for research
Gay marriage/Diminish(sanctity) the institution of marriage
Raise taxes on rich/cut spending
Climate change/natural temp fluctuation
Evolution/Intelligent design
Corporate spending in politics/Inhibiting free speech
Tax the affluent/disincentive for innovation
Inherited debt/He owns it now
Obama's war/Bush's wars
We just disagree on principle!

In the end-one side is right and one is wrong. We know-they are wrong.

The extreme left is as bad as the extreme right.

I cannot say this is my "favorite" ~ it makes me crazy to hear it.

6. For #3 as well-
are journalism students taught to do this ? Not all claims have 2 equal sides, with "sensible" people disagreeing on a point. This shit makes me gag.
