The leader of one protest group was ejected.

2. I've just learned about this recently.
This is as horrible as the rattlesnake roundups. How in any sense this can be considered okay and permitted, is completely beyond me. We have anti-cruelty laws for pets (though they could be more effective). Why no anti-cruelty laws for wild animals?

5. I never heard of it until yesterday, and spent the whole day thinking about it
I emailed all of the powers-that-be there, and I am sure I will get snarky responses from some, but every little bit of pressure helps.
