Watching MTP (Gregory Isn't On) Savannah Guthrie Is Much Better

than Gregory, in my opinion. Mitch Daniels seems flustered. She's asking good questions, especially about the current trash heap of republican candidates. She pushed him on the dissatisfaction of the republicans in their field of candidates. When Daniels denied this, she nailed him when she commented that he said "The more, the merrier," etc. She seems to think that Paul Ryan will run, and that is, as I have heard and read, the worst kept "secret" in D.C. I've thought for quite a while now that this field of so-called "candidates" is a sham, and the real person will emerge. In the mean time, Ryan (or Jebbie) have more time to prep, save money, and fly under the radar while he or she builds their "war chest". Just my thoughts. I am aware that I could be wrong. UYour thoughts?

about Ryan running. IMO, Ryan is as bad choice
as what they have now. The Republicans biggest
complaint about Obama is young and lack of experience.
Why then run Ryan who is unpopular because of his
harsh budget plan????
It seems counter-intuitive.

It will not surprise me for them to put up a new candidate.
At one time, I thought it would be Jeb because he is one
of the few who satisfy the Establishment and the Cultural
Republicans. He has stated no, emphatically.

but, I've always liked Guthrie's interviewing style. If she could just put the blackberry down for more than 30 seconds, she'd be more enjoyable to watch. Todd was even worse with the gadgets. Unfortunately, for him, he doesn't have as much talent as Guthrie. YMMV.

I don't think he's particularly thrilled with anybody who's running right now, and is just being politic by hedging his comments with ambiguity. But in terms of his endorsement of anyone, I don't think his opinion will much matter anyway the further things get into the primary process. I also don't think the GOP will have anything to worry about when it comes to taking back Indiana in 2012. (Cue Hoosier bashing in 3...2....1, but be aware there are still a few Independent and left-leaning people in this state.)

And I hope you're right that the current crop flames out -- a lot of loose cannons in that bunch.

and all she wants to do is eat, sleep, and get fawned over.
