On Libya and dangers ahead
Up until now we have seen a revolution with plenty of gun play... to some this is dangerous and even bad. Yet... the dangerous work starns now.

First off, I don't expect a Jeffersonian democracy to rise... that be silly... but I'd like to see a form of democracy.

The problem is that for the last 42 years no civil insituation developed without the taint of the Colonel. That is a problem. Also the society is not a modern day society. It is a tribal society.

So I will not make any predictions as to where this will evolve, but this is the danger point in any revolution, We may see a FORM of democracy emerge, or another strong man. And for those of us interested in the process... this is when it really gets interesting.
