IF - There Had Been An Actual Disaster & Obama Sat Around Reading A Children's Book While...

In the case of the earthquake, if there’d been an actual disaster, and Obama sat around reading a children’s book while Americans were dying, I could see conservatives getting upset. If Obama had been told a month ago that a serious disaster was poised to happen, and he told the geologists, “All right, you’ve covered your ass now” before ignoring the warnings, the right would have plenty of room for criticism.

The Republican Tea Party seems to be endlessly searching for that magic "Katrina" moment, a moment of such spectacular incompetence and/or scandal with which to deliver a massive TKO against President Obama and ensure that he's irrevocably consigned to one-term status (despite everything, he's not there just yet and they know it). They just keep jumping on any tragedy or disaster, natural or otherwise, to do this with but President Obama keeps disappointing them by, well, doing his job like he's supposed to. :rofl:

I would say that they seriously need to get a life and call us back when they think that they actually have something more substantive to criticize President Obama about but, frankly, petty sniping and second-guessing EVERYTHING President Obama does is pretty much all they've been reduced to. :eyes:

Ignored the Aug 6 PDB, sat mute while the country was under attack, ran for cover in NE, didn't show up in NY for 3 days, flew bin Laden's family out of the country, then sent out campaign photos of himself flying in AF1 while we were under attack. He would have been impeached without a doubt.
