Earthquake Damage in Virginia: New photos
Damage as yet unreported is estimated to be in the millions, but all local breweries say output remains nominal and the amounts spilled do not represent an environmental hazard that can easily be replaced by current production.

Of course, everyone knows this is ridiculous. NOBODY in Virginia uses plastic furniture!

7. There was an earthquake in DC just 6 months to a year ago. Hit DC area just as hard as this one did
Because it was nearer to major population centers.

I don't remember anyone expressing concern for the MD suburbs then.

8. The one you are thinking of was 3.9 in July 2010. No damage reported.
Mineral and Culpeper were hit pretty hard during the recent one. Broken windows, cracked chimney's etc.
