2. I admire Harry Truman as much as most other lifelong Dems do
but my, wouldn't it have been something if Henry Wallace had succeeded to the presidency when FDR died? He was the closest thing to a socialist - and he was damned close that ever was on the Democratic ticket.

Obama's picture is classic.
I've never seen anyone so genuine in public life with his emotions like he is.
