Good-bye Sarah
Sarah, you put cross hairs on your political opponents.
One of them was shot.

Whether there was a direct causation isn't really the relevant question. You did something very stupid and it came back to bite you on the ass.

You own the 'cross hairs on your opponents' moment in American politics forever more. This will always be your legacy. The best way for you to get the American people to forget this moment is to admit to yourself you don't have the wisdom to be President--after all you didn't even have the common sense wisdom to foresee the perhaps inevitable political fallout which could result from posting those targets--and retire from the public eye.

You had your chance and blew it. That majestic caribou you were so proud to have shot and killed and posed with while it was needlessly bleeding out on the snow in what has been so aptly labeled your episodal snuff movie; well that caribou is symbolic of your political career. It ain't breathing any more. I feel sorrier for the caribou.

1. Very nice wording. But will she listen?
Sociopaths don't listen.

3. Of course she won't listen, but that really doesn't matter.
The rest of the world is listening, and they (we) are the ones with the power to shut her down.

2. She doesn't even seem to have a future in reality shows...
...which was very surprising to me, as I would have thought someone like her would have been a natural for the reality/freakshow format. But even that was a dud.

9. she quit her job as Governor to cash in
her book sales are in the toilet,
and no reality show, probably of thinking of ways to make her money. She just needs to be ignored by the media but they are just obsessed with her.

4. Yup. Doesn't matter if it was the cause or not because it was stupid and irresponsible anyway.

5. . . .and now the "blood libel" phrase
and it's offensive historical origins.

The woman needs to shut up and disappear into the wilds of Alaska.

8. I get the impression
that Murdoch and all his media tentacles are slowly withdrawing from La Palin. Yesterday I checked out 'The Australian', WSJ, 'Herald-Sun' and several other Murdoch publications. They all have articles about the inappropriate use of 'blood libel'. Of the papers I checked, only the UK Sun, which really caters to the lowest common denominator, did not condemn her speech.

10. We thought she was gone after the elections

But made her brand even more powerful.

I know this is wishful thinking, that this vapid dolt be gone, but something tells me after a week or two of reflection and mourning, the right-wing carnival barkers will be back out to prop up their empty political blow-up doll.

She adds nothing to the debate, is moronic, is polarizing and offensive...meaning that she has great potential to work in some fashion within the media.

Palin vanish? I'll believe it when I don't see her anymore.
