on the coverage
some folks claim it is yellow journalism (and there is some of that) But here are some other things I have heard the critters at MSNBC mention.

1.- IF there is an evacuation order, LEAVE.

2.- Get the supplies you need, such as water, food, meds

3.- Take this seriously, this is not a joke. can't be repeated enough.

4.- Modeling on surge patterns (which does most of the damage in storms)

5.- Ground saturation levels.

6.- Path of the storm.

7.- Casualty numbers.

8.- And yes, if you are in the zone, TURN TO YOUR LOCAL NOOZ.

I guess some folks would prefer prison porn and then would be complaining because they are on prison porn.

Not pleasing some folks, or perhaps, we have watched different news coverage. Reality is, if YOU ARE NOT IN THE ZONE... and it bothers you so much... there is this on\off switch... or the remote can take you to Iron Chef America or IRT or any other entertainment you might care for.

And yes reporters near the water line is always funny for other reasons by the way.

1. Thanks for posting!
Sure it can be boring for those who are not in the immediate zone (probably can be really boring for some that are), but there are real lives at risk and we can all change the channel if we don't like it.
