We mustn't rely on it unless we've figured out what to do with the waste, right? I mean it's kinda, really nassy and long-lived...

Maybe consider how much of that sludge has ALREADY reached its destination down the various pipelines, like in fertilizer or drywall. Or the food chain. How 'bout dem fish, eh?

The Japanese Government has allowed the burning of this contaminated sludge if under a certain reading and have been adding clean soil to highly radioactive sludge so it averages out to the allowed limit,thus recontaminating the environment!This is just more insanity from a industry that cant cope with the problems of waste being from a accident or just normal operations.Check out-http://fairewinds.com/home Arni Gunderson discusses this and many other topics concerning the Nuclear industry and NRC
