Are the teabaggers/gops TRYING to make this into "Obama's Katrina" by limiting FEMA
funds, etc? They WANT to make the response be less adequate to prove that Pres Obama is worse that shrub was?

3. My question makes sense? That they want to have Obama administration fail
in any way they can make it? Aside from that stupid "bush didn't cause a hurricane" meme, to show that the reaction, the response of shrub was ok since obviously Obama can't do better? Have they no shame? (rhetorical question)

7. The words "sense" and "Republicans"
Edited on Wed Aug-31-11 11:54 AM by polmaven
don't really go together, do they?

I do really think they care more about ruining this POTUS than they care about the welfare of the country.

4. Punish Blue States
Not a factor? The majority of the NE hit by Irene are. If this had hit Florida and Rick Scott, think they would be trying make a lesson of it as much?

8. Also, they do not believe in these government rolls. If Obama
AdM. is seen as successful, the people will expect more
from them. As long as they can Government look ineffective
they think not much will be expected and therefore they
can end a lot of programs and turn them over to each
state to run the best they can.

It is part of their strategy, do not let Obama look successful
at anything. They think this help win WH and put Obama out of
office.

9. If Cantor and VA's Seventh District don't want FEMA funds without
holding all of NE hostage, let them do without. Allocate their funds elsewhere. Fark Cantor and the District he rode in on.

12. Sure they are. They're also suppressing jobs creation, a recovery, and denying any 'victories'
he's had in foreign policy. They will do everything possible to 1) keep Obama from re-election and 2)destroy all taxes and regulation of business.
