T-Mobile Chief Says He Was Surprised by Justice’s Lawsuit

T-Mobile USA’s chief executive, Philipp Humm, sent a memo to the cellphone service provider’s employees on Wednesday saying he was surprised by the Justice Department’s lawsuit seeking to block its sale to AT&T. “We were surprised by this sudden announcement, and D.T. will join AT&T in challenging the D.O.J.’s case in court,” he wrote in the memo, which was obtained by This Is My Next.

The front-page of The New York Times says, "The Justice Department’s suit to block AT&T’s deal with T-Mobile is a forceful antitrust move by President Obama."

As a long time T-Mobile customer, I don't want this deal to go through. I don't like AT&T. And yes, the cell phone industry needs competition.

3. this deal needs to be blocked, hope this lawsuit succeeds, good for DOJ (for a change)

When I lived in the USA, most of my friends who had AT&T HATED them, almost as much as Comcast.
