Keith Olbermann’s ‘Countdown’ Gets Highest Ratings Since Current TV Debut
“Countdown with Keith Olbermann” on Current TV drew 310,000 total viewers and 102,000 A25-54 viewers on Tuesday night, giving the former MSNBC host his highest ratings since the week his show debuted in June. Olbermann spent the a good chunk of the show talking with former U.S. diplomat Joe Wilson about former VP Dick Cheney‘s memoir, and — as he has done many times before — named Bill O’Reilly, who is Olbermann’s 8 p.m. competition on Fox News Channel, “Worst Person in the World.”

Although the ratings mark an uptick for Olbermann, his Current TV program is still recording lower ratings in both categories than the competing programs in the 8 p.m. timeslot.

1. My cable company doesn't carry Current TV
I've signed the form asking them to add it, but not sure if they will do so.

8. Keith is vital to democracy and is one of the few voices of reason.
If your cable co. does not carry him, if you can, switch to one that does.

10. The program is actually improving in terms of guests and production.
I can tell they are finding a rhythm now.

Can't wait until Current offers HD.

13. I agree. I also think...
...Keith is able to be way more 'authentic' in this version of his show. That makes it even better, IMO.

15. At least ones that are not on MSNBC contracts now. They are trying to starve him of guests.

11. Yep. It just keeps getting better and better.
The quality of commentators is awesome with number one being John Dean, one of my hero's, who went up against the Nixon machine!

He had an interesting exchange with a Charter rep and the outcome wasn't encouraging.
