Robber offered chicken instead of cash

A 17-YEAR-OLD KFC worker confronted by a robber armed with a knife and demanding cash told the bandit the tills were locked and asked if he wanted some chicken instead.

The armed robbery on the Tullamarine fast food outlet was one of a string committed by Keilor Downs man Luke William O'Dwyer on convenience stores and service stations over a month earlier this year.

1. Sounds like she fought off the robber with the threat of a deadly weapon
;)

(Brave girl, but I personally wouldn't risk a knife wound to save KFC any money...)
