If what you're watching on teevee pleases you, its okay to say so.

If what you're watching on teevee pleases you not, maybe it would be better to simply move along and say nothing.

To say you're finding value in watching is a positive statement.

To say you're finding this somehow unsettling is very easily taken by others as telling them they're somehow wrong for feeling what they're feeling.

Sometimes the kindest thing you can possibly do is simply say nothing.

5. What I'm seeing is appreciation that's often only meted out to sports figures
For ordinary Americans who have done extraordinary things to receive such thanks it's a good thing.

13. In other words, sometimes silence is golden.
Or as my mother taught me: If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

14. In other words, be open and tolerant of others ways of grieving, celebrating
It is too bad that is such a difficult concept for some

15. Those of us who felt uncomfortable
when someone yelled "We Miss You Janet!" and "We Love You" when Sec. Napolitano and President Obama were introduced were merely stating our discomfort with the way we saw the UA students grieving.

Tolerance goes both ways, no?

11. Stink....
Sometimes you say what I want to say seconds before I get the chance to say it...
I am Irish and THIS is how we celebrate life.
And those who are no longer with us.
The only thing missing is an open bar.

And if you and I were there together, I would have my arm around you right about now.
You Sir, have a good heart.

19. And let's not go for the rest that happens in an Irish wake
but yes... all that is missing is the alcohol... or if this was a true wake... Tamales and Mole... it is the Southwest after all
