I posted this in another thread -- tell me this doesn't describe sarah palin to a tee
A person with narcissistic personality disorder:

* Reacts to criticism with rage, shame, or humiliation
* Takes advantage of other people to achieve his or her own goals
* Has feelings of self-importance
* Exaggerates achievements and talents
* Is preoccupied with fantasies of success, power, beauty, intelligence, or ideal love
* Has unreasonable expectations of favorable treatment
* Requires constant attention and admiration
* Disregards the feelings of others, lacks empathy
* Has obsessive self-interest
* Pursues mainly selfish goals

2. Oh yeah, she has most likely the Narcissistic Personality Disorder
all right. And how did this get to "0" recs, with my one? Who'd unrec this description, a version of which has been on my mind most of the day.

3. Many of us made the argument that this disorder applied to GW Bush.
I'm starting to wonder if this description applies to every Republican, period.

4. I think we were right both times. I'm not sure it applies to every
Republican, but it seems to work for them at the top. Narcissists like Bush and Palin are very easy for people like Cheney and the neo-cons to lead -- by appealing to their egos.
