god i love wbez. worldview right now playing eisenhower's
farewell address, and talking to his grandaughter, susan eisenhower.

worldview is the best international news show anywhere. wbez has not been taken over by the spell of national propaganda radio. it is still what public radio is supposed to be. give a listen-http://www.wbez.org/worldview

1. Thanks for the link...Good to know that there is some public radio that is still worth listening to
Here in NYC WBAI is the best. WNYC has largely sold out to corporate "partners".

3. WBAI is a Pacifica Station
Very different kind of beast from most "public radio". Out here we have KPFA.

There are a few others around the country.

6. I totally agree Mo! I love that on Thursdays they have international activists on.
It's a great show. I also think the morning show 848 is interesting.
It's the national news on NPR I often have a problem with. The local stuff here in Chicago is great.

8. i love that, too.
do you know that the original host of the show, sandra gair, was the mother of the producer of nightline? that is how she got such great guests. she was awesome. and fearless. and beloved by cab drivers.
