Is it time to enact

the 28th amendment to the Constitution to eliminate capital punishment? I do not want ANY person, and, in particular a person whose guilt may have the slimmest of question to be murdered by the state in my name.

Here is Massachusetts capital punishment is not legal, but I feel that anytime a person is executed in any state, or on a federal level, that I, as a citizen of this country, have a stake in that death.

I intend to discuss the issue with my Congressman, and with the two Senate candidates whom I know on a personal basis. I will also write to as many of the other candidates whose addresses I can locate.

Last night has left me angry and very upset.

The only way to stop it is to amend the Constitution.

OK...thank you for letting me get it off my chest.
