TeaCon was supposed to be the culmination of all the work that Chicago Tea Party Director Stevan Stevlic put into building the party.

But Stevlic, of Cicero, ended up skipping the event Saturday after news broke about his arrest for soliciting a prostitute more than a year ago.

Stevan Stevlic, then 36, was arrested June 25, 2010, in the 1600 block of South Kilbourn for misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution, a police source confirmed to the Sun-Times Saturday.

The arrest was first reported on the website Gawker, which said the charges were dropped after Stevlic agreed to participate in a rehab program.

How is ReHab going to make him stop using prostitutes?

Shouldn't he be seeing a marriage councilor or a Sex Therapist?

Granted I don't know much of anything concerning ReHab, but I thought that kind of thing was for addictions.
If the charges were dropped because he was going to attend ReHab concerning his use of Prostitutes, isn't that kind of admitting he must be using them very regularly?
That would seem to go against their Family Values stuff...oh wait, he's a TeaPeeing Repub. Hypocrisy is standard with them, especially when they hold an elected office or administrative positions within their party.

he can claim "sex addiction". This absolves him from blame, so it's not his fault. It's a kind of "the devil made me do it" defense. He can then be admitted to rehab and be made all better. This is especially true if you are a politician.

Not that it matters, but the article wasn't really clear.

The laughter was loud and long...the latest joke from the local teabaggers. There were a couple hundred protestors outside the hotel...and my bets are they outnumbered the losers inside. There were more local media than anything else and the protestors got as much, if not more of the coverage on the local channels. Deadbeat Walsh showed briefly...duck in a backdoor and was hounded by the local media who still haven't gotten answers to their questions about his finances and divorce. Reports say that many of the top national baggers were invited and took a pass. What's that tell your "movement"? Overall..."teabagcon"...total failure. :rofl:
