18. Fox Propoganda is calling OWS protestors freedom haters, communists.
They are framing the movement as dangerous and a threat to this country.

Not a surprise though.

4. Oh...I totally agree. But when you've got one fool educating another
and they both work for corporate media, this is what one can expect.

Perhaps someone should have carried a sign that looked like this in front of her face,
to hand her a clue!

As someone observed here recently:"Money is like manure; spread it around and it makes things grow, pile it up in one place and it just stinks to high heaven."

And, since you aren't saying who you think he's working for ...it's hard to know your reasoning.

I've been watching him since CNBC days when he hosted Fast Money. I could see the disgust for the Money Crowd growing with him in the way he ran the show. I've followed his interviews "off line" with Wall Streeter insiders sick of what was going on including those who wrote books exposing the fraud of Wall Street the dismantling of FDR's protections to separate the banking system. I've seen him evolve in his thinking about Wall Street.

So...that's where I come from. He's also now getting money from Left groups..Nation Institute for one along with Union Money for his "Steel on Wheels" tour (last year) looking for jobs in America and with segments on the Populist Movement in Wisconsin. He does believe that what's wrong with the country goes across party lines. I think most of us who've been here can agree in some way with that.

13. The Whole 'Join Right And Left' Line, Ma'am, Is A Dead-End
Saying the impossible is the only solution is in fact to be bolting armor on the status quo, and dispiriting and sapping any actual opposition.

15. So where is the opposition to what's been going on to come from, then?
Is it to be left up to the Tea Party? Or, do you feel that Obama's second term will bring the reform and change we can believe in. I'm really trying to get to where you are coming from. Is it just cynicism speaking? That, I could understand.

17. You May Have Seen Me Say This Before, Ma'am
"The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it."

The teabaggers do not oppose what is going on; they empower it, and seek to ensure there is even more of it. Every thing they advocate for is calculated to increase income disparity and put at ever-greater disadvantage working people. They are not an opposition, they are thugs for the boss.

20. That 's why I'm hopeful seeing some on Wall Street disgusted enough
to turn on their own...and eat them alive if they can. Whether those few will succeed, who knows. But, Media likes to bring in eyeballs. Some on MSNBC are trying to bring in eyeballs. MSNBC/CNBC could care less about having a few progressive people on. But, they need demographics to compete. Doesn't mean that they can't be used as long as the eyeballs bring in advertisers.

Wall Street will bring itself down...and is doing a pretty good job these days. But, the reformers need to be heard.

Edited on Wed Oct-05-11 02:27 PM by FrenchieCat
but easily talks to the Left about how fucked up Democrats are.

I have a problem with that.

Hell, he identifies with the Tea Party and Ron Paul.

How does that make him a friend of the Left?
Because of his constitutional amendment that will never pass that's
short on details? Sounds "good" on the surface, but we all know that
the devil is in the details!

I'm just amazed how he can lie about how the Tea Party Movement started. It's like he must think we all forgot...or perhaps he's hoping that enough folks forgot.
