This is how the 1%ers and their lapdogs on CNBC see the OWS patriots!

The 1%ers sure are getting scared, eh?

2. Sounds like they're getting uncomfortable
So sad. They declared war and now we're fighting back. Shit happens.

4. You could say the same thing about any lack of response from elected DEMS.
King and Cantor are uncomfortable, but a failure of elected DEMS to respond, defend the DEM base, etc. against these attacks might mean DEMS are getting pretty uncomfortable too.

We shall see- maybe they are just keeping their powder dry.

10. The Dem base? What would make them believe that it's the Dem
base behind OWS. There are people out there with signs that could represent anarchist groups.

Maybe Obama should take Santorum's advice after all.

5. Oh boy, the 1%er's CNBC lapdogs just helped the "anarchistic
mobs" on Wall st. with their ridiculous sniggering depictions of Americans excersizing their right to protest. Their insulting comments so reminded me of those made against protesters during the Vietnam era.

16. LOL! I went to the one in Austin yesterday. "Vietnam era protestors" were...
antique, in age and obscurity. But they found some old fellow (perhaps homeless) on his bike and whipped the cameras out. He looked at little flummoxed, but I'm sure he unwittingly served MSM's purpose. On the other hand, the spokesperson for OccupyAustin is a pleasant, media-savvy blond. Now THAT might confuse Fox.

15. I wonder...is that particular ZeitGeist being summoned and contrasted? Very interesting.
The longer that the MSM poo-poos the protest, and the larger the protests become, the more Middle America will realize that something truly polarizing is occuring. And that it's Important. And has precedents..

18. MSM doesn't want ANYONE outside the narrow parameters they set...
The OccupyAustin.org rally yesterday had a number of straight-looking folks, working folks, straight-looking college kids and (remarkably) un-tattooed folks in attendance; a few had t-shirt with firearms prominently featured in the art. Not a late 60s crowd. If you get 5,000 instead of 500 out, THAT will leave the power structure standing in their own yellow water.

Those two phrases really don't go together very well. Have these people never heard of the Boston Tea Party? I mean come on they destroyed the private property of the East India Company.

19. There were some disaffected T-partyers at the OccupyAustin rally.
I said over a year ago in these threads that sooner or later the "left" will have to sit down with the "teabaggers."

Ain't nobody wants anything to do with us, no how.

I'm not sure what common ground can be found.

21. The 'Anti-American' one really gets me.
Apparently, the only way to 'Be American' is to support the theft of everything that it once meant to be an American. And if you believe in some degree of equality...then you are ANTI American.

THINK ABOUT THAT! If supporting equality is Anti-American...

...then maybe I am. Because if that is true, then 'American' isn't something to be proud of in the -slightest-.

23. They are not afraid. Least not yet. They haven't brought out the...
heavy guns yet and they are cocksure that this will go away.
The bottom line is that they won't be afraid until they have to spend their money on security in a big way.
