Hey Nancy, heard you're supporting OWS...
How about working to get the arrest records of the 900 people arrested in your own district the other night expunged?

8. I can't believe I'm the only one who didn't believe it was Pelosi
She doesn't exactly have a track record of supporting protesters.

3. She called the cops when people protested in front of her house, on 'her' sidewalk
so don't hold your breath.

5. I agree. It's craven and insincere, without question.
Wasn't talking to you as much as to anyone who actually thinks she might do something.

9. That would be looking back. Not forward.
That may have been the biggest political miscalculation right there.

11. Looking back?

Forgiving the big fat fines many will have to pay for exercising their 1st Amendment rights is "looking back?"

14. Oh, c'mon!
I mean, really... just come on, will ya?

We're not driving a car here, are we?
And even when you're doin' that, it is necessary to look back from time to time...

I find your argument needlessly argumentative at best.

12. If OWS is to become a movement it must carefully guard against being co-opted by the political
establishment. We need only look back at what happened to the nascent movement in Wisconsin to see what happens to when a movement allies itself with the democratic party. It dies! Be careful OWS and don't allow your infant movement to be co-opted by the democrats. If that happens OWS will wither and die a quiet death as happened in Wisconsin.
