Uganda To Expedite Oil Laws As Key Deal Hangs In Balance

(you can read the whole short article, but all you need to read is the following)

"Uganda has discovered at least 2.5 billion barrels of oil in 20 oil fields in three blocks along its western border with mineral-rich but eastern Congo. The country is expected to start commercial oil production by 2013."

----------

The US sent troops to Uganda, why?

I wonder how the Congo feels about this?

2. It's still early.
remember they are only "advisor's".

I think it's a wait and see attitude. Since the discovered oil is on the edge of the boarder with the Congo, I think they want to see if a boarder resource war will spark. If one does "spark" then we will see more troops pour in, in a "limited" fashion under the guise of an "provoked" attack by the Congo.

or something like that.

the last thing that will be said, is that oil started all of this.

4. Russ Feingold is fomenting a "boarder (sic) resource war?"
Seriously.

Look, I hate to interupt the daily 2-minutes of Obama-hate, but you aren't going to convince me that Russ feingold is trying to start an oil war.
