7. Yes Why? When our Military budget is strained and US deficit
so high
WHY are we conducting a HUGELY expensive drill on this Magnitude

either War with Iran is eminent or We just like spending money having our boats planes and personnel
spinning their wheels

We have a HUGE DEFICIT lets not waste our Military budget on futile drills

unless you have plans on getting into WWIII

which I hope your not that stupid

8. All quiet around Travis Air Force Base
No behemoths flying around practicing touch and goes. No air refueling planes, either. Not even a quiet C-17 is gracing our air. Quiet.

9. Is this air cover for Israel? A story so Israel
can fly through Iraq to Iran

11. Well, flying touch and goes in Northern California doesn't provide much cover to Israel
And as Rummy the Dummy would say, "They're Fungible, they can be here, or they can be there".

I'm inclined to believe this leans more towards saber rattling/posturing at this point then subterfuge for Israel.

13. Looks like this will involve 41 C5 Galaxy aircraft coming from different bases....
...around the world and then operationally converging to support combat commanders "across the globe". Given the short length of the operation it's hard to imagine that their destinations aren't solely in the Middle East/Asia, where the bulk of our big wars are.

16. Maybe it's practice for delivery of the 400 M1A1 Abrams Greece is buying from us.
After all, you can't entrust delivery of a http://www.businessinsider.com/what-greece-to-buy-400-tanks-from-the-us-2011-10">battle tank to FedEx, right?
