Does anyone remember? Do you have a video clip of when Obama said "Make me do the right thing"?

I distinctly remember sometime several years ago, not sure if it was before Obama won election
or after, but he said something to the effect that "This will not be easy .. blah blah (we've
heard that a lot -- but this time there was more) .. he said something like "It's still going
to take 'all of us' to make the change happen" ... in effect saying "I'll do the right thing,
but you are going to have to have my back, i.e. be a vocal and present movement to "make me
do the right thing". Rather like the civil rights movement "made JFK do the right thing" by
sending in Federal Marshals.

I'd love to see that clip, because of it's profound relevance to what is playing out NOW with
Occupy Wall St. and Everywhere.

Anyone recall it or have a link, I'd be grateful. It may become VERY useful to the Occupy
movement at some point.

Thanks. ;-)

ON EDIT => just so you know I already have googled for this until my fingers started to bleed,
but maybe there are some better at it than I, who could turn it up.

1. I'm not sure that Obama ever said that,
but FDR said that in those same words.

5. Obama apparently used the "make me do it" phrase in 2008...
at a fundraiser in Montclair New Jersey (echoing FDR):

"At a fundraising dinner in 2008, in Montclair, New Jersey, Obama told one of his favorite stories about F.D.R. (He told the story apropos of the Israeli-Arab dispute, but it also pertains to gay marriage.) Obama recounted how when F.D.R. was confronted by the civil-rights leader A. Philip Randolph about the racial injustices in the country and the need for the President to use his powers and his bully pulpit, F.D.R. said he agreed but he would only take action when he was forced to do so by a popular movement. “Make me do it,” he told Randolph."

6. Yeah, it was a piece of his campaign bullshit.
He says all the right things at election time, but after he was sworn in, the repeated message became "shut-up and let the adults handle it".

7. I remember that and I knew that he wanted us to get mad
and make him go left. It took us sooooooo long. I guess as they say the injustice has to reach a critical mass before we show up in the streets.
But here we are:)
