Rick Santorum Calls 'Saturday Night Live' Sketch Poking Fun At His Anti-Gay Marriage Views 'Bullying'

Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum criticized a "Saturday Night Live" skit that poked fun at his anti-gay marriage views by showing him seated at a gay bar in the Castro section of San Francisco.

Santorum -- depicted by actor Andy Samberg in the sketch, titled "Yet Another GOP Debate" -- suggested that the segment was "bullying" during an interview with New Hampshire radio station WGIR on Sunday. The former Pennsylvania senator said he had been "hammered" by "the left" for his support of conservative principles.

"The left, unfortunately, participates in bullying more than the right does," Santorum said. "They say that they’re tolerant, and they’re anything but tolerant of people who disagree with them and support traditional values."


So I guess for Dick Santorum it's ok that he can bully gay people by calling them evil and warped and treating them like they are wretched people. But if someone calls him out on that his feelings get hurt. Well Dick, have you thought about hundred of thousands feelings you have hurt with your anti-gay rhetoric? If it was up to you GLBT children in school would be open game for bullying, families would think it's ok to shun their GLBT family members - you would support and demand that people bully GLBT members of society because of your so-called 'conservative values'. Shame on you Dick Santorum, frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex!

3. That skit merely showed Santorum as being extremely uncomfortable around gays,
which he would be. It wasn't particularly mean spirited -and hardly amounts to "bullying".
