11. The Iraq war is going to go down as the biggest shame of the US.
Even returning US military say it was not worth it; Iraqis say that it was not worth it.

Sorry Karl Rove, history will not change that opinion.

I hope an author somewhere does interviews with all returning vets to get the story of what went on.

12. Some of what went on we're war crimes
And until we face to that as a country...we will do this again. Of course some of them attitudes are also comming home. So that will be interesting.

14. Unfortunately, where there is war, there are war crimes.
The world should rid itself of weapons, so that war cannot be fought.

Maybe they should have virtual wars on computers to see who wins without blowing anything up.

Too bad, that one of the biggest exports of the US is weapons.

And sadly I think it's in the genes. I mean, dolphins chimps and elephants do go to war.

18. I've always been bad at math
but #4 got me confused - $100 billion divided by 300 million americans = $333 per person.
How is that going to pay for healthcare for a whole year? Everybody gets a box of Robitussin and a pack of band aids and applies them as needed? Group X-rays?

19. Actually if we did preventive medicine
You'd get quite a bit of bang fer buck. In fact doing that you'd spend a lot less in the majority of a healthy population and a lot more on the non healthy. An example...a flu shot runs about twenty bucks. An influenza course with ICU care...we are talking thousands.

I hope this encourages you to look into why this is a good idea.

24. Doing the math ...
I find that the current cost of healthcare in the US is about $2 trillion/yr; not $100 billion.
