Watching a bbc programme 24 hours in the ER
Edited on Sun Oct-23-11 06:14 PM by nadinbrzezinski
Now anybody who's ever worked in one knows this...ER's are tense places. That said I am not detecting the vibe of desperation. Hell, I even saw a couple patients smile and laugh and those were not Te crazy ones.

'another thing, this particular ER is not that busy, but I guess tat stands to reason, when you can go to the doctor for a flu/cold.

It is always educating to see that quite honestly.

1. Oh and one of the patients broke her arm
Care to tell me how nervous she'd be over the cost in insert us based ER here? For the record Medicare would cover some of it.

Very different vibe and staff and patients smiling and laughing.

3. You know it might be the days
But how busy? It strikes me as a mid city clinic in TJ, or actually the Red Cross...but that is because relatively minor, even if you feel like crap, conditions as flues and colds are absent.

Not watching for clinical but body language and general vibes.
