5. Buy a bumper sticker and I donate to OWS
Click on my link below.

I am donating half the profits to OWS for legal aid, medical aid, food, shelter.... whatever they want to use it for.
So far I have donated $75 from the profits to the Occupy movement

8. No offense, but
this means you have PROFITED $75 from the OWS movement (so far)? No badge of honor for you, I'm afraid.

10. Actually, you are wrong
Edited on Wed Oct-26-11 02:01 PM by thecrow
The $75 was much more than 1/2 my profits. It cost me $200 to get them printed
and cost me to mail them and of course Paypal took their cuts.

I made $95 and sent OWS $75.... because I want to support them
So while Im in the financial hole for this, I still sent them $75
I'm in the hole for roughly $175 but I will keep selling them to get it out on the street everywhere.
And I'm not even breaking even.
Tell me how that is profitting.
And then tell me what you have done for OWS.

11. Then you used the word 'profits' incorrectly.
Edited on Wed Oct-26-11 02:37 PM by Ineeda
'Profits' are the amount you have actually made after all expenses are are deducted from the proceeds. I'm not denigrating your giving, but I understood from your post that you were actually making a 'profit' from the movement. And yes, I have not only given actual money that I can't afford, but bought a bunch of stuff -- toiletries mostly -- and participated.

12. Well I'm too old and arthritic to participate
so this was my idea of how to help. I am a 61 year old unemployed woman with a back condition.
Perhaps I didn't explain the "profits" correctly but I don't know how to fix my marketplace post at this late date. Props to you for your contributions.
I am still hoping people will buy the bumper stickers so I can donate more to OWS.
Click on the link below if you want to.

Take it to the Streets, because I can't.

14. These are certainly worth repeating...
1. Go to Liberty Plaza to join those that Occupy Wall Street if you can. This is the epicenter of the movement and the inspiration for what's happening across the country. Carpools are being arranged va this Facebook group.

2. Send non-perishable food, books, magazines, coffee, tea bags, aspirin, blankets and socks to the UPS Store, c/o Occupy Wall Street, 118A Fulton St, #205, NY, NY 10038.

3. Have pizza delivered to the protestors at Liberty Plaza. Call Majestic Pizza Corp at 212-349-4046 and have your credit card ready.

Like the pizza part! Good-guys' pizza instead of the one we're hearing about rather nauseatingly...
