This is amazing I agree with Meghan McCain regarding guns
I just find this not stunning since this will lead to a large conversation on this subject...all I can say is cool!

then we have to start talking beyond usual talking points. The "no one needs ______, so ban them" is not a compelling starting point.

The conversation will simply not be had in any meaningful way, if thats the case.

The pro-gun like me and millions of others will simply bombard congress with emails letters and phone calls as we've been doing, and donate to the various pro-gun groups, and in doing so make sure that legislation based on "need" never sees the light of day.

No honest conversation is no conversation at all, and will be viewed as such.

20. Perhaps, but lets start with the McCarthy position. Why is ten a good maximum?

Most of the popular full size pistols designed with self-defense have standard capacity magazines between 12 - 19 with 15 - 17 being very common. These magazines do not protrude from the grip. They are not extended.

Civilian police typically carry pistols with magazine capacities between 12 - 19 even during routine traffic stops because of the possibility they will need to defend themselves or others. Civilian police defend themselves from criminals who are often also victimizing civilians. Why shouldn't non-leo civilians be able to defend themselves as civilian police? Its the same criminals who endanger both.

16. Her daddy injured more people with single shotgun round than I ever have with my STANDARD capacity
magazines.

Why all the talk about 30 rounds. Smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that McCarthy bill would ban 11 round magazines.

The gun grabbers should at least be honest and say "Nobody needs 11 rounds so lets ban them".
