What climate change?
We're gonna get 9-12 inches of snow in the Adirondacks and the Poconos in frigging OCTOBER, and it's just a variation of 'normal', right?

Happens all the time...in fact the last time there was snow on the ground in NYC for Halloween was just yesterday, I believe, in 1925. And I'm willing to bet that the mountainous regions didn't have significant fractions of a FOOT.

When it starts snowing in August, maybe we'll get some consideration...then again, maybe not. God will make it snow on the Democratic Convention or on homosexuals and/or Muslims as a form of 'punishment'.

:sarcasm: of course...

1. It is just a weather system....
but when things like this aberration keep happening, people (you and me) realize that the weather is screwn.

I'm looking for higher ground, but not so high that a tornado is going to take my top off.

2. Fox will be using this to claim Global Warming is a hoax.
After ignoring the hottest summer in decades.

3. Yeah, that word "warming" really throws them off.
That's why Bill Maher as started using climate change instead of global warming.

5. That was Luntz that came up with that from what I have read,
Edited on Fri Oct-28-11 06:58 AM by amyrose2712
but I do think it is actually a better way to put it that makes more sense, although that isn't what he was trying to do.

4. Certainly not the norm -
- but, as you point out, it has occurred previously in 1925. I doubt there's much to tell us how/why it occurred in 1925 as they probably didn't know.

Possibly one of those "100 year" events? Guess the next 100 years will tell us!

6. Snow predicted in DC area too
Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, Sunday.
I cannot believe this!

You'd almost think the CIA's secret weather machine is being cranked up to get rid of the Occupy Wall Street protestors everywhere.
