Why Isn't the MSM Calling Herman Cain on His Cancer?
Edited on Mon Oct-31-11 01:49 AM by JCMach1
In all seriousness, the nature of his disease should disqualify him for the job.

...Statistics have shown only 7% as the stage 4 liver cancer survival rates for a 5 year period. Those whose cancer is surgically removed show a survival rate of about 75% after 1 year, 50% after 3 years and 30% after 5 years... http://www.buzzle.com/articles/stage4-liver-cancer-survival-rates.html

According to Stephanopoulos, Cain says:

“I’m willing to release my medical records. Two months ago George, I went to my oncologist in Atlanta, got a full scale check-up, cat scan, x-rays, all of the various blood tests and he put it in writing that after five years I am now totally 100 percent cancer-free,” Herman Cain said.
He was diagnosed in 2006 and wrote in his book “This is Herman Cain: My Journey to the White House,” that he was given a 30 percent chance of survival. But Cain overcame stage four colon and liver cancer and said his doctors call him a “cancer miracle.”... http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/herman-cain-will-release-medical-records/

To me, this is the 500lb gorilla in the room with this guy and the MSM is completely ignoring it. Or, are they holding back for some reason?

You think if Obama had just recovered from Stage IV cancer they wouldn't be talking about it???

Seriously, :wtf: is going on here.

2. But why the drama? Or, do they plan to do a Tsongas on him after he wins a primary?

3. Why is everyone so sure Cain won't win the GOP primary?
Maybe not the general, but I don't think he is that much worse than the rest of the GOP field right now.

5. I'm sure because of the 'sexual harassment' news that broke today. See link below

4. Could be, that's a "smoking gun" they'll hold to liven the horse race next year. . .
Can you imagine how much would be lost -- massive amounts of revenue to start, but also months of mindless punditry, weeks worth of senseless polling, and interminable hours of useless debate -- all this would be lost to the media and its associated interests if Romney emerged as the candidate before Xmas. So the media will hold back various tidbits and "pressure points" to use as they see fit to keep the horse race running.

Above all, they have to keep them running. And us, too.
