First Pics of Loughner's Parents
via NY Post

'The couple refused to talk to reporters when they left the office building a short time later and returned to their home after getting a pizza.
Neighbors were surprised to see the Loughners emerge from the house, which had been so quiet recently that they had assumed the parents had sought refuge somewhere else.'

15. They're not doing it for glamor.
That's the easiest way to hide your emotional psyche while going out in public.

2. As parents
they must be in such horrible pain. I cannot even imagine. They will never be OK for the rest of their lives and they will always question themselves and each other. I cannot imagine what it must be for them.

22. The parents spawned a horrible human being that committed mass murder
The parents are newsworthy. We need to know what his home life was like and what made him tick. We can't arrive at this information without analyzing the parents.

25. They are not newsworthy.
And they are not to blame for the mental illness that has taken over their son. We don't need to be privy to every single detail involving Loughner's life or that of his parents'.

The couple deserve what little privacy they'll likely to have for the foreseeable future.

5. They look ashamed of their son
I hope the media does not pick on them, because I don't think it was their fault. I would be very ashamed of my son if he had done this. I guess they will try to pay for his defense too. I don't think I would. If they pay for anything, I would hope that they would contribute to the victims families for the cost of funeral and burials.

9. Nothing more than tabloid crap
Seriously, these people did nothing wrong and their lives are going to be blighted forever because of this.

We can give them the dignity of living it out without the vulturous paparazzi.

18. I can't imagine what they must be feeling.
There must be an incredible sense of mea culpa present, even though their son is an adult, and he was the one who pulled the trigger. I feel bad for them. They were terrorized by what he did, too, and I hope they find the strength they need to overcome what they must be dealing with right now.
