Pakistan to take issue of drone attacks to UN : Firdous Ashiq

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the safeguard of national interest would be ensured and Pakistan would take matter regarding drone attacks to UNO at appropriate time.

She was speaking to the journalist outside the parliament house on Friday. She said that at present the country can not afford political confrontation as all political forces should join hand to drag out Pakistan from crises.

Sharif Brothers are conducting drone attacks on democracy. She said that PPP is the party of the federation, which has complete confidence of the people . “We do not feel any fear from any GT Road movement. She said that the President Zardari has clear cut majority in the parliament and the powers which want to topple him could not be succeeded

Responding to a question she said that although rallies are taken out against rulers but it is astonishing that they are themselves parts of these protests but all the conspiracies against democracy would be thwarted. “Pakistan made major achievement by winning the non permanent seat in United Nation”, she added.
