Republicans believe government and the economy are self-regulating.
If they see a person with no shoes, they tell them to pull themselves up by their bootstraps...

Neither the government nor the economy can be destroyed. There is nothing that cannot be fixed with more taxcuts and less regulation. Everything is self-correcting.

Republicans believe they are superior at creating jobs, although all evidence in the last 75 years dispute that fact. They believe they are superior at foreign policy, although the facts speak otherwise. They believe they are the Party of fiscal responsibility, although most of the debt we now have was created by Republicans or passed on by Republicans.

The mystery is why so many people believe the Republicans? The Republican ideology is not only bankrupt but is out of touch with reality. Nothing but suffering and hardship will come from their policies. I feel sad that our country has lost its way and blindly follows those that do not have the people's interests at heart. Too many people believe that if you give more to the wealthy, they will trickle it down to them. Stupid cannot be fixed and it comes at a high price.

1. Democrats believe it is better...
... that some slackers receive benefits they don't deserve if it ensures that all deserving People get what they need.

Republicans believe that it is better that deserving People do without rather than one slacker getting something he/she doesn't deserve.

Many times I find this is the basic difference between my positions and those of family and friends on the right.

2. They also have no trouble executing innocent people...
for fear that one criminal may escape their retribution.
