I, myself, just finished taking a nice little chunk of Bank of America...
in Cash!
They sure didn't like that. They asked where it was going. I said local credit union. I felt sorry for the teller. It's not really her fault. But you can tell they are worried.

1. I've been a member of a credit union for decades, now. You'll like it!
No reason to give money to ripoff banks, when the credit unions will reward you for membership.

9. Yesterday.
Moved some bucks from BigEvil Bank to my credit union - where the interest on money market accounts is also much better.

10. Ya gotta feel for the tellers.
They may lose their jobs - another negative from the actions taken by these robber baron banks.

11. My Wife & I went ON STRIKE in 2006.
Cashed Out EVERYTHING.
Paid the penalties.
Sold Everything.
Bought some Dirt in The Woods outright.
We live there now.
No Credit Cards.
No Mortgage.
Wall Street & Global Banks can Live or Die without our money or concern.

We buy almost nothing NEW.
What we can't build or make ourselves,
we buy 2nd hand or Salvage and make it work,
or do without.
We now produce a good percentage of our own food,
and give the rest away to those not as fortunate.

Our focus has become Local Humanitarian Issues,
and finding NEW ways to deprive The "Uniquely American Solution" Scam of funding.
We are Living Well on a LOW "Taxable Income"
using skills we learned in the 60s.

Its not for everybody.
My Wife & I are fortunate to be healthy & Strong
and have a complimentary Skill Set that makes this FUN (most of the time).
Next year, we will CONSUME! even less.

12. Just cancelled my credit card with Bank of Amerika
No more $59 per year fee is one reason, but the main reason is I don't want to be lending support to a gang criminals.

13. I left BofA for my Credit Union Years Ago
They screwed up my car lease when they bought the leasing company. I had my checking at BofA and they bought my car leasing company. Then they didn't credit my car lease account with a check I sent them from my BofA DDA. They started calling me every day several times a day for a payment I'd made and FAXed them the canceled check for it twice.

After that I was done. I took my money to a nice friendly credit union and I've never been sorry.
