18. Poe's law...
It means that without something like a winky face or a sarcasm emoticon to indicate that it's parody of an extreme view, that it becomes indistiguishable from the extreme view that it's a parody of. I had/have a parody site of those irksome and weird anti-choice religious folk, and even though at the time I thought it was obvious I was taking the piss, I got lots of comments in the guestbook from people who thought I was for real...
