Rush Limbaugh broke a land speed record this week (remember, he moves fast for a big man) in linking the alleged child molestation scandal at Penn State to…yes, the Democrats. But it’s a Republican presidential candidate who actually has a closer connection to the person at the center of the scandal. On his show Tuesday, El Rushbo said alums and (mu-hoo-hahahah) “The Media” have wanted to take down Penn State coach Joe Paterno for years. Why? Because he has an “impeccable reputation” Rush said, and “impeccably reputed people make everybody else look bad. So If we can make everybody looks like a reprobate, it’s not so bad to be a reprobate.” After a while of tearing people and institutions down, there is nothing worth looking up to, Rush said. “Because the left wants everybody to believe that all of thsoe impeccable reputations and all those fine people never were. They were all scumbags like we all are.”

The model now, Rush said, “it’s people like Bill Clinton. That’s the hero, that’s the star. That’s the people we all want to be like. That’s who the Democrat Party hoists up.”
