2. Deregulation and tax cuts aren't the solution to every problem?
That's sacrilege!

for the party of the rich, only, that they truly are. They are obviously going to try to fight that image with these statements.

6. They must have been hearing from desperate bankers after 650,000
moved their money to credit unions. The bankers really are in charge.

9. So, is Ryan planning to propose something in the House
and lead the charge to get it passed in the House? I am NOT holding my breath, especially since it will meet GOP veto in the Senate where it won't even be allowed to be debated. :puke:

11. Part of me thinks OWS is like the demonstration in WI last winter in that the democrats
should amplify the message but not lead it. After all OWS has no leader so there is nobody for the GOP to attack (unless they attack everyone). So far OWS signs like "I don't mind that you are rich; I mind that you have bought my government" bubble up to the surface. And so the message gets out that way. The message is all organic and non authoritarian; so the GOP does not know what to do with it.

12. Can you say lip service?
I don't buy anything those sleazebuckets utter. They're just talking out of both sides of their mouths.

13. Maybe Newt should go talk to his old buddy...
Phil Graham who was the real muscle behind repealing Glass-Steigal. I'm sure, of course, Phil has a very nice retirement from his efforts
