My fingers are crossed...The New guy and his fiancee may have
found an apartment. Locating one under 900.00 in the Kirkland-Everett area is hard for young folks.

2. Glad to hear it.
Took me a bit to figure out who New Guy is. Did they end up staying with you? I don't remember from your earlier thread(s).

5. I had no idea rents were so high in that area.
Glad they found a place and props to you for helping them out!

6. you've really got to shop and be careful you aren't in a scummy area
They haven't found any yet, but it sounds like they are checking out a couple of places that aren't too inflexible in rushed moves.

7. My fingers are crossed too, my dear rustydog...
It sounds so damn promising!

How lucky for all of you that he's working where he is...

Otherwise, his situation would be a lot more dire.

8. Bothell is a decent little town and there are some affordable rents there.
It is also pretty central to a lot of that region. Hubby and I moved to the area over a year ago and that's where we found our start.
