My Wife Is A Graduate Of Penn State

I never suspected her of being a pedophile or an enabler of pedophiles until I read several of these intelligent posts on this board the last couple of days.

She likes football too, so I guess that proves it.

Indeed.

I give it maybe a week until people stop acting like fools with the "Pedo State" and other nonsense.

It's a top-notch institution with tens of thousands of students and faculty working to make their communities and the world better. The Internet blusterers will bluster until they find the next thing to feed their outrage addiction, and then it will be on to that (who remembers Casey Anthony...), and bluster in that direction, and so on, ad infinitum and ad nauseam.

I had one particular interlocutor who was doing the whole "Hey, look up Centre County on a map, darling, and TRUST me when I tell you X, Y,. and Z about it..."

When I informed her that I had lived in State College for ten years, and asked her where she lived in Centre County, she suddenly dropped the whole condescending discussion and scurried off, never responding again. There's a lynch mob on the loose, and plenty of know-nothings who like to pretend they know something.

They are, in fact, the perfect mirror image of the people at the heart of this scandal, a bunch of know-somethings who went around pretending they knew nothing.
