1. He was never a threat.
He's there to make Romney look good.

4. One of our dogs just dropped a few clumps in the yard that make Romney look, well
at least about the same as the clumps.

and to sell books. Cain wants Palin's job not Obama's. He wants to spend
the next 4 years getting paid to show up and blather. He wants to raise funds for future campaigns and fleece the true believers for all they are worth.

10. The Repugs needed to push a black man so that they can't appear to be racist ...
once they found one ... (black Republican) ...

I wonder ... how many times did Spermin' Herman show up on the cameras during the 2008 GOP Convention? Did anybody get the count? Surely, there must have been somebody keeping track ... they kept going to the same handful of blacks ...

11. I suspect Newt realized most of the candidates were dingbats and kept his mouth shut...
until the field was cleared.

17. Hard to say. The media's still making exuses for him: he was tired from campaigning, blah blah.
Well if he can't handle the campaigning, he sure can't handle the Presidency.

18. Bad answer to policy questions aren't what undoes Republican candidates.
Looking weak is what does it, and coverage of Cain's repeated fumbles is making him look so weak that even Republicans won't be able to ignore it.
