The rich people on MSNBC are telling OWS how to look relevant.
They don't see enough negroes, just white kids from GAP ads. Still pushing the "no message" meme. Time for the Occupied movement to get serious.

Gawd, if only the left owned a few tv networks.

3. I've been watching
ustream.tv-the other 99% and there is a pretty good mix of everyone..I would guess the mix is different for different areas of the country.
All colors are having a rough time of it so all colors are involved.

Seriously, not making light of this. If you're a struggling black or Hispanic trying keep your family fed, do you have time to camp in the park for a couple of months? And then, when the cops move in, will be able to whip out your VISA card or call Daddy to bail you out? The OWS protesters might lean toward the GAP side...but I think that really reenforces the message, rather than detract; if you're doin' okay you can be a part of the dialogue, but there are millions who can't afford a voice.

10. for those of us old enough to remember the demonstrations against the Vietnam War,
it was just about the same equivalent of white vs. minority mix that eventually caused the war to be brought to an end. I remember it being a pretty white movement. So when I look at the OWS I see familiarity with those years in the late 60s/early 70s. We may have reached a tipping point much like it was then...

11. For those who can get them, Current TV or Free Speech TV
are much, much better choices than MSNBC particularly in regard to OWS. I always recommend asking your media providers for them, as well as any competing companies in your area, let them know that the first one to offer those channels gets your business.
