For the same reasons all the idiocy around here is.

There are local authorities for local events, and there are Federal authorities for events that have an impact in that area. The locals are taking action, bad as that is, it's their business, not Obama's. Rush is blaming Obama... so are many DUers.

To prevent an impact on the stock market tomorrow.

And so there has been a coordinated eviction by mayors within a space of days. Interestingly, the mayors doing most of the coordination appear to be from the "bluest" most "progressive" cities. I notice no attempt on their part to do anything other than marginalize and discredit OWS. No community police liasons, etc. Instead, reports of police dumping criminals at the site of OWS protests. And fed-level organizing teach-ins on how to take down these encampments in the most diplomatic way possible. Why assume Obama is running the agencies in question?

23. Divide and conquer.
Rush is against OWS. Rush hates Presdident Obama even more, and will blame him for every negative thing that happens in this country, especially that which could potentially turn his supporters against him. That is exactly what he is trying to do here. Unfortuantely for Rush, most people to his left have the good sense to ignore him.

It sure looks to me like this was a coordinated effort to put an end to OWS.

However if Rush is saying it was Obama it couldn't have been. That man has never been right in his life. Maybe someone on his staff. But this was not some single incident. Someone somewhere decided to try to bury the movement completely.

If you consider that a "lack of knowledge" then I can't help you.

It seems there's a sad and scary movement on the left lately toward faith-based information: believe the stuff we WANT to believe, no matter what the facts are, as well as a desire to lash out at our own elected officials instead of the people responsible.

A teabagger cousin said nearly exactly that to me last week... he said it's a free country and he can believe what he wants to believe... I told him it was true, he could believe any lie, any fairy tale, any wives tale, any tall tale, any flat Earth thing he wants to believe... what he can't do is pummel the rest of us for telling the truth. If he believes so strongly that what I'm saying isn't true, he needs to prove his fairy tale is the truth.

an extension of the MSM. But, in the end he is correct on the fact that the Federal Government is responsible for the mass tear down. His last sentence. He is creating a narrative and millions will believe it. This sucks because the politicos are distancing themselves... We need a message.
