Are there any other places where US soldiers are stationed besides Penn Station?

Armed soldiers have been in Penn Station since soon after 9/11. When the soldiers were first put in Penn Station they were unarmed which made no sense. Now they occasionally carry M16's. I think the soldiers at Penn Station were always inappropriate. More cops would have been just as good. I recently saw a soldier walking through with his finger on the trigger of his M16. I don't know where this guy thought he was, but I found it disturbing.

Anyway, are there US National Guard soldiers stationed in any other public places in the US?

4. Shouldn't matter.

Rule #1... treat every firearm as if it's loaded.

If it's drilled into ones head enough, it becomes instinctive.

Penn Station and Grand Central seem likely places in the post 9/11 paranoid world- Maybe Union Station in DC and other major city stations?

6. I think you're right about the airports.

I bet this has to do with budgets as well, but I'd love to get Cuomo to pull the soldiers out of Penn Station.
