Heard that about an hour ago. On the BBC.

Not MSNBC. Not CNN. The BBC, the public network of that FUCK-IN' SOSHALL-UST KUN-TRY called Great Britain.

Apparently, they actually report facts over there. What a concept!

1. That can't be. Renowned Historian Bill O'Really declared the movement to be dead
a couple of days ago!

:rofl:

2. For real news go to either independent media in the US
or BBC and Al Jazeera... the US... just fun factor.

No, not because I am actually writing for them, every town has it's small press. Most run on the web

In San Diego it's the east county news and the ob rag and the city beat and the reader.

8. Check your cable lineup to see if you get RT where you will see great
coverage of OWS, they've been doing it from the beginning. Also, Current TV which for now just has the KO show, but they will also have the TYT soon and I am hoping they build up a real news team with actual investigative journalists.

But there is also the GlobalLivestream, OWS's is putting out their own newspaper also 'The Occupied Wall Street Journal' (which I have been trying to buy but can't find a way to do so so far). There's the Nation's Liveblog on OWS which is excellent, and The Dissenter's liveblog for more info. There are so many ways to get real news now that I so rarely watch the MSM, when I do, it simply makes me ill, the stupidity of the talking heads that pass for journalists is simply stunning. Did they get worse, or is it because we now have more choices that when you go back and watch them for a while, the comparison makes them look worse than I remember?

3. Well, now I have to whip out two of my favorite
quotes. The awfully long and sordid history of the US Propaganda Ministry has yet to be told.

"The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media."

~ William Colby, CIA Director from Sept. 1973 to Jan. 1976 under Presidents Nixon and Ford.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false."
~ William Casey, CIA Director from 1981 to 1987. (Quote from internal staff meeting notes 1981)
Casey headed up the successful presidential campaign of Ronald Reagan in 1980 and served on the transition team following the election.
After Reagan took office, he named Casey to the post of Director of the CIA.
According to a 600-page report by the CIA inspector general, Frederick Hintz,
the CIA under Casey was complicit in the Contras' massive narco-trafficking operation
which resulted in the crack epidemic.
